The long awaited second album of Asura finally arrives!
For more than seven years, the band ASURA, french band composed by Charles Farewell, Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, has polished a personal electronic
universe sound, between Trip Hop, Ambient and World music. Made by
many influences, their music doesn't remain about it less one personal and
considered creation, centered on the perpetual search of infinite spaces and
multiple origins.
Monotonous melancholic lyrics, symphonic waves, fast and slow rythms, heavy
or throbbing, liturgical songs, the band ASURA introduces a certain solemn
vision of the world. Built around electronic machines and acoustic
instruments, their music is a curiosity, and this is this unique sound which contributed
to make of Asura one of the most famous band of Trance Ambient. Their new album, Lost Eden, is a patchwork of genres and moments of life. It visits some musical
territories who were not explored in their first opus, Code Eternity, constituting a mixture comparable to any other.

The middle and end of 2003 gave Asura the opportunity to cross the atlantic ocean till the USA, via the album “The Perfect Trance 2.0” by Neurodisc, sequel of the “Perfect Trance”, who was the best seller of Neurodisc till today; moreover, Asura appeared on the album “Four AD”, by Waveform, in october (the three first “AD” has been sold to more than 100 000 copies). The first quarter of 2004 brings for the first time Asura to Japan, on the two compilations “Trance Gamer” and “Psytrance from Paris” by Green Energy.
